Angry Mourinho accuses Villa forward
An angry Jose Mourinho accused Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor of grabbing Ramires by the neck in the stormy finale to Chelsea’s defeat at Villa Park.
Ramires had sparked a melee on the touchline after being sent off for an apparent stamp on Karim El Ahmadi.
Agbonlahor, who was in the dugout after being substituted, was restrained by his manager Paul Lambert, while Mourinho was ordered off by referee Chris Foy for his reaction to the incident.
The Chelsea boss said Foy refused to offer any explanation for his sending off and questioned why no action was taken against Agbonlahor.
He said: “Agbonlahor came from the dugout, he went to Ramires and grabbed him by the neck.
“He wasn’t even on the pitch, he was on the bench. I want to know what he [Foy] is going to write about my sending off.
“If my sending off was because I was two to three metres inside the pitch, I ask why not all the others, especially one player that made aggression?
“I tried to speak with the referee twice, on the pitch and in the dressing rooms. In the dressing rooms, I asked politely, ‘can you give me five seconds?’ and he refused.”
Willian was the first Chelsea player to be sent off, as he was controversially given a second yellow card midway through the second half, tipping the balance in Villa’s favour.
Fabian Delph hit an 82nd-minute winner before Ramires and Mourinho saw red.
Mourinho refused to comment on his players’ red cards, saying he did not want a misconduct charge from the Football Association.

Mourinho has to take the blame for keeping Willian on the pitch with a yellow card. We all know a player of such work rate can’t play to their full potential with card.
