Injured Chelsea prospect lines up Stevenage loan move

Chelsea winger Charlie Wakefield has agreed a season-long loan deal with Stevenage.

The 19-year-old is currently recovering from injury and will link up with the League Two club in September or October when he is fit again.

Wakefield signed a new contract earlier this month, committing himself to Chelsea until the end of the 2018-19 season.

He has won the Uefa Youth League and FA Youth Cup during his time with the Blues.
