Callum Hudson-Odoi has signed a new five-year contract with Chelsea.
The 18-year-old, whose deal was due to expire next summer, was pursued by Bayern Munich in January.
He made it clear he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge but was subsequently given a run in the first team and broke into the England side before a ruptured Achilles tendon ended his season prematurely.
Now close to a first-team return – and very much part of boss Frank Lampard’s plans – Hudson-Odoi has decided to commit his future to the club.
He returned to action in an Under-23 match last week along with fellow youngster Reece James, who has been recovering from an ankle injury.
