Higuain’s agent denies Chelsea talks

Gonazlo Higuain’s brother Nicolas, who acts as his agent, has told Sky in Italy there is no prospect of the striker joining Chelsea.

It comes amid reports the Blues are keen to sign Higuain from Juventus after the World Cup.

Reports in Italy have even claimed that a deal has been agreed for the Argentina international to move to Stamford Bridge.

Nicolas said: “We are not in talks with Chelsea. He wants to respect his contract with Juventus.”

Referring to Higuain’s former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo being linked with Juve, he added: “It would be great to see Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo playing together again.”
