Guus Hiddink has hinted that Chelsea would block any move for Loic Remy.
The Blues striker has been linked with a potential move to China, where the transfer window does not close until 26 February.
Media reports in Remy’s native France have suggested that Chelsea have been in discussions with Shanghai Shenhua. Newly-promoted club Hebei China Fortune have also been linked with him.
However, when asked about the prospect of Remy leaving, Chelsea boss Hiddink said: “I think this squad that we have now will stay until the end of the season.
“We like to have double cover in positions and you never know what will happen (in terms of injuries), so I don’t see many changes at this moment.”
Radamel Falcao, on the other hand, was recently left out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad and has also been linked with a potential move to China.
The on-loan Monaco forward has been nursing an injury and has not featured since coming on as a late substitute in the home defeat against Liverpool in October.
“Falcao is training but is not in the group of Champions League players, We will see what will happen,” Hiddink said.
Meanwhile, Diego Costa has suffered broken nose in training ahead of this weekend’s game against Newcastle.
