Guehi plays as Chelsea youngsters beat Blackburn and go top
Marc Guehi played for Chelsea’s development side as they won 2-1 at home to Blackburn on Saturday afternoon to go top of Premier League 2.
Substitute Armando Broja scored the winner with 14 minutes remaining at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.
Jon Russell had fired the young Blues ahead and Broja restored the lead just a couple of minutes after Daniel Butterworth had equalised for the visitors.
Defender Guehi started this week’s Carabao Cup defeat against Manchester United and has been part of the first-team squad for recent league games while Andreas Christensen has been out with a hamstring problem.
