Tammy Abraham will again be sidelined for Chelsea’s trip to Bournemouth.
The Blues striker is struggling with an ongoing ankle problem and has been unable to train ahead of the game against the Cherries.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is also still out along with N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic.
Worryingly for Chelsea fans, manager Frank Lampard admitted at a news conference on Friday afternoon that he is unsure when Abraham will be able to return.
“I don’t know. We need to see,” said Lampard.
“I speak to the doctors daily about it but we’re not actually clear about that one.
“We’re trying to find a solution. It’s obviously frustrating that he comes in and out somewhat.
“At the minute he’s not doing anything active for the next couple of days.”
Chelsea are also unsure when Pulisic will be available again.
The American, who was in excellent form prior to being sidelined, has been out since New Year’s Day with an adductor problem.
Lampard said: “The projected time out was a lot less than expected but I had a similar injury myself and was out for three months – it was my worst injury.
“So I can sympathise. I can see it’s a difficult one.”
