Chelsea’s Under-18s stormed to an incredible victory on Saturday morning, thrashing Aston Villa 12-2 at the Blues’ Cobham training ground.
They were 2-0 down after a quarter of an hour but Jeremie Boga [pictured] and Miro Muheim both scored hat-tricks in an amazing comeback.
Once Boga pulled one back the floodgates opened. Tammy Abraham levelled and Muheim put the home side ahead before Boga netted his second and Dominic Solanke also scored twice to leave them 6-2 ahead at half-time.
The goals continued after the break. Muheim scored two more to complete his hat-trick, Kyle Scott made it 9-2 and Boga’s third was a brilliant free-kick.
Abraham then scored his second and substitute Ike Ugbo rounded off the scoring.
Meanwhile, Brentford’s Under-18s also enjoyed a fine win – they beat Leeds United 4-1.
Bradley Clayton scored twice for the young Bees and there were also goals for Tom Field and Reece Cole.
But Brentford’s Under-21 side lost 2-1 to Huddersfield Town at Griffin Park.
