Maurizio Sarri has paid tribute to Jose Mourinho – and joked that he hopes the former Chelsea manager doesn’t return for a third spell at Stamford Bridge.
The current Blues boss backed Mourinho following his sacking by Manchester United.
Asked if he believes the Premier League will miss the Portuguese, Sarri said: “I think so. Mourinho won everything, won everywhere.
“I like him very much as a coach and as a man. But I think he is right when he said that Manchester (United) has a future without Mourinho but also Mourinho has a great future without Manchester.
“I like him very much and I’d like to see him on the bench as soon as possible. Maybe in England. Not here!”
