Moses determined to take second chance at Chelsea
Chelsea winger Victor Moses says he wants to repay the faith shown in him by boss Antonio Conte.
Moses scored in the League Cup win over Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, his first Blues goal since May 2013.
The 25-year-old also came on as a substitute in both of the opening Premier League games, as he aims for a second chance at becoming a Chelsea regular following loan spells with Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.
Moses told Chelsea’s website: “In pre-season I’ve always done well, it’s just about getting the chance.
“The manager knows the ability I’ve got and I want to pay him back by working hard for the team and making sure I do the right things on the pitch.
“I’m here and I’m happy and I want to keep on enjoying my football.
“I’ve always believed in the ability and talent I’ve got. There’s still a lot to come from me.
“I’m pleased to be playing this season. I just want to keep working hard for the team and hope we can win as many games as we can.”
