Southampton v Chelsea: Two Blues changes, Barkley a sub

Davide Zappacosta starts for Chelsea at St Mary’s, where Ross Barkley is among the Blues’ substitutes.

Zappacosta comes in for Victor Moses and there is a recall for Andreas Christensen, who was left out against West Ham last weekend. The Dane replaces Antonio Rudiger.

Barkley is back in the Chelsea squad following a hamstring problem.

Southampton, meanwhile, are without the injured Steven Davis and the suspended Jack Stephens, but Shane Long has been passed fit to start after shaking off an ankle injury.

Southampton: McCarthy, Yoshida, Hoedt, Bednarek, Cedric, Romeu, Hojbjerg, Ward-Prowse, Bertrand, Tadic, Long.
Subs: Forster, McQueen, Sims, Boufal, Lemina, Gabbiadini, Austin.

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill; Zappacosta, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian, Morata, Hazard.
Subs: Caballero, Moses, Emerson, Bakayoko, Barkley, Pedro, Giroud.
