Jose Mourinho has questioned whether Chris Foy should be allowed to referee Chelsea matches.
Foy sent off Ramires and Willian during their 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday and has now dismissed six of their players in the last eight Blues matches he has officiated.
Willian’s second yellow card, issued following a challenge on Fabien Delph, looked harsh.
And Chelsea boss Mourinho was himself sent off after a touchline row that followed Ramires’ straight red card for a two-footed tackle on Villa’s Karim El Ahmadi.
“Maybe it is helpful that the committee doesn’t send him to our matches,” said Mourinho.
“I don’t have the right to request that – I just think they have to analyse the situation and see. I think maybe it would be a good decision.”
Ramires will serve a three-game ban, while Willian will be suspended for this weekend’s vital derby against Arsenal.
