Oscar is not for sale, Mourinho insists
Jose Mourinho has insisted that Chelsea have no plans to sell Oscar.
There had been speculation that Liverpool are among several clubs interested in the Brazilian following reports he could be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
But Blues boss Mourinho said: “He just signed a new contract a few months ago.
“He’s a boy of 23 who Chelsea bought when he was a kid and is in the best period of his career. Obviously we don’t want to sell.”
Oscar has made 93 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, scoring 18 goals, since arriving from Internacional in 2012 for a fee of around £25m.
He committed his long-term future to the club by signing a five-year deal last November.
