Chelsea have completed the signing of Mohamed Salah from Basel.
The Egyptian international has passed a medical and agreed a five-and-a-half-year contract at Stamford Bridge. He will wear the number 15 shirt.
Salah, 21, played against Chelsea twice in the Champions League last season and scored in both matches.
Liverpool wanted to sign him and were tipped to take him to Anfield before Chelsea made their move last week.

Maybe if Liverpool didn't need about three months to complete a signing they might be more successful. But what was the point of signing another forward when their defence and midfield are so dreadful? Was this guy supposed to win the ball in the air when the opposition get corners and free-kicks? Hardly likely.
