Jose Mourinho has refused to be drawn on speculation linking Chelsea with a big-money move for Juventus’ former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Blues are reportedly vying for Pogba’s signature with United, who are said to be keen to re-sign the 22-year-old France international.
However, Chelsea boss Mourinho has suggested that he is happy with his current midfield options and wants youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek to establish himself in the first team next season.
“I don’t speak about Paul Pogba or other players,” he said.
“The only thing I can tell you is that if you look at our midfield players and between them – Fabegas, Matic, Ramires, Mikel is injured, Ruben – we have a good group and I have a lot of faith in Ruben.”
Pogba, meanwhile, has been ruled out for two months after suffering a hamstring injury.
