Teenager Brown signs new Chelsea contract
Chelsea have given youngster Izzy Brown a new four-year contract.
The 18-year-old forward, who is on a season-long loan at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, is regarded as one of Chelsea’s best prospects.
He was snapped up from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2013 and made his first-team debut for the Blues against his former club last May.
He captained Chelsea’s Under-19s as they won the Uefa Youth League last season, scoring twice in the final against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Brown was also part of the Under-18s team which won the FA Youth Cup.
Very happy to have a signed a new 4 year contract with @ChelseaFC, hard work doesn't stop!
