Hiddink tight-lipped over Remy’s future
Guus Hiddink has refused to be drawn on reports that Loic Remy is on his way out of Chelsea.
Remy previously spent a season on loan at Newcastle, who are keen to sign him, while Leicester have also been linked with the French striker.
Speaking at a news conference ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup tie against Milton Keynes Dons, interim manager Hiddink said Remy is carrying an injury and he would not confirm that the player is set to leave.
“He’s injured for the moment. He has a slight injury on his calf. We’ll see what happens in the upcoming days,” said Hiddink when asked about Remy’s future.
Meanwhile, Hiddink has confirmed that Chelsea plan to complete deals to sign Alexandre Pato and Matt Miazga.
