Eden Hazard says he wants to know who Chelsea’s manager will be next season before committing his future to the club.
The Belgian, 27, has also reiterated that he wants to see which players are brought in by the Blues this summer before making a decision on his future.
It follows continued speculation surrounding Hazard, who has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Belgium’s pre-World Cup friendly against Costa Rica, Hazard was asked if a decision to stay at Chelsea would be dependent on the managerial situation and new players being brought in.
“Yes. I want to know,” replied Hazard, who is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020.
Chelsea are expected to replace Antonio Conte as manager after a disappointing season.
Hazard added: “If we have something new, a manager or players, it is always good to know it because I want to know which players will be at Chelsea next season.
“But, to be fair, the transfer market is not open yet, so we will see after.”
