Hazard to undergo scan after suffering groin injury

Eden Hazard is due to undergo a scan on Monday after suffering a groin injury during Chelsea’s 3-0 win at Crystal Palace.

Blues playmaker Hazard limped off after 16 minutes of the derby at Selhurst Park and could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

“He slipped, spread his legs and has a little problem with a muscle inside his groin,” said boss Guus Hiddink.

“We’ll see tomorrow with the MRI scan how damaged it is.”
