Fabregas: I have excellent relationship with Mourinho

Cesc Fabregas has insisted he is “extremely happy” at Chelsea and has an “excellent relationship” with boss Jose Mourinho.

The Blues midfielder took to Twitter to deny reports he was at the centre of a player revolt against Mourinho.

Fabregas had started every Premier League and Champions League game for Chelsea this season until Saturday’s defeat by Liverpool, when he was named as a substitute before playing the last 20 minutes.

The Spaniard tweeted: “I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports from some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea and have an excellent relationship with the manager.

“There may be certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again.”
