Everton manager Roberto Martinez has again insisted that England defender John Stones is not for sale.
Chelsea have twice made bids for the 21-year-old centre-back and remain keen, while Manchester United have also linked with the player.
But Martinez has been irked by Blues boss Jose Mourinho’s pursuit of Stones and is determined to keep him at Goodison Park.
“I have said it before – the player is not for and that it is the end of it,” he said on Thursday.
Stones has been touted as a possible long-term replacement for John Terry at Chelsea.
He joined Everton from Barnsley in 2011 and has four years remaining on his contract at the Merseyside club.
