Conte tight-lipped over Koulibaly and Eduardo
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has refused to comment on reports the club have made a huge offer for Kalidou Koulibaly and have agreed the signing of Portuguese goalkeeper Eduardo.
The Blues are said to be willing to pay up to £60m in order to sign defender Koulibaly, 25, from Napoli.
And Dinamo Zagreb boss Zlatko Kranjcar has said that his club’s 33-year-old keeper Eduardo is moving to Stamford Bridge.
But Conte, speaking at a press conference ahead of Saturday’s game against Watford, reiterated his policy of not publicly discussing transfer deals.
“About transfer policy, I prefer to speak with the club. It is difficult for me to speak to the media about this,” he said.
“We are waiting for the right solutions for Chelsea. We need to sign some players and we are working together to find the right solutions.
“It is right to speak with the club and we have contact every day. We must search to find the right solutions to buy and sell.”
However, Conte admitted that Juan Cuadrado’s future is unclear.
The winger’s agent is due in London to discuss Cuadrado’s future amid reports he is set to re-join Juventus on loan from the Blues.
