Chelsea Under-18s’ 100% start ended by late goal

Chelsea’s Under-18 side drew 1-1 at Arsenal, where their 100% start to the season was ended by a late equaliser.

Charlie Wakefield netted for the visitors four minutes into the second half after being found by Miro Muheim’s low cross.

Both teams then hit the woodwork, with Ali Suljic heading Muheim’s corner against the bar before Edward Nketiah also saw an effort strike the bar.

Chelsea, who had beaten Norwich City 4-1 and then Aston Villa 1-0 in their opening two matches, were denied another win by Aaron Eyoma’s 88th-minute goal.
