Ross Barkley scored twice in his first match in a Chelsea shirt, including the winning goal, as the Blues’ development side beat QPR’s 3-2 in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
West London Sport revealed this week that Chelsea had arranged game against the R’s in order for Barkley to return to action following his recent move from Everton.
Barkley had hamstring surgery last year and had not played this season before his outing in the game at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.
