Abraham scores twice as Chelsea youngsters ease to victory
Tammy Abraham scored twice as Chelsea’s Under-19s beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0 in the Uefa Youth League ahead of the first team’s Champions League match against the Israeli club.
The defending champions were three up by half-time at the Netanya Stadium, where Abraham (pictured) put them ahead with an early penalty.
Charlie Wakefield made it 2-0 with a fine individual goal before Kyle Scott’s deflected shot put Chelsea in complete control.
Abraham capped a resounding win with a cool finish after being set up by Kasey Palmer – the striker’s seventh goal of this season’s tournament.
Defender Ola Aina almost added a fifth with an injury-time header.
