Antonio Conte declared that Chelsea can still improve after their resounding win against Burnley left them top of the Premier League table after three matches.
Eden Hazard was outstanding in the 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge, scoring the opening goal before Willian and Victor Moses also found the net.
It maintained the Blues’ 100% start under boss Conte, who firmly believes they can get even better.
“I am pleased with the performance and the win,” the Italian said.
“We played good football with good possession and created a lot of chances to score.
“We played a good game, but we know we can still improve. Today though I am pleased.
“To start the season with three wins and a win in the cup is good for the players, the fans and for me.
“When we start in this way, you can work better and the players trust more.
“I see a lot of positives, but despite the three wins we can improve and we must improve a lot.
“We must continue to improve and build something. It’s important to build a team and a family – and it’s important to start in a good way.”
Burnley manager Sean Dyche, meanwhile, admitted that his team had been outclassed by Conte’s side.
