Dortmund chief dismisses reports Pulisic is set for Chelsea

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has dismissed reports that Christian Pulisic is on his way to Chelsea.

The United States international has long been touted for a move to the Premier League and reports recently claimed Chelsea are set to win a race to sign him and want the deal done in January.

But Zorc told German newspaper Kicker there is little prospect of that happening.

He said: “We have known these rumours for many years. We plan at least until the end of the season with him.”

Pulisic, 20, is under contract at Dortmund until 2020. He could be sold in the summer if he does not sign a new deal with the Bundesliga club.

Liverpool have also been linked with him.
