Four Chelsea youngsters have been named in England’s Under-20 squad for this summer’s Toulon Tournament.
Marc Guehi (pictured), Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher have been included along with QPR’s Ebere Eze, Fulham’s Steven Sessegnon and goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe of Brentford.
England, who have won the tournament three times in a row, will face Japan, Portugal and Chile in the group stage.
“This tournament is very prestigious and one that England have done very well in in the past and our group will be looking to emulate what’s gone before us,” said coach Paul Simpson.
On Tuesday, five Chelsea youngsters were named in England’s squad for this summer’s European Under-21 Championship.
Jake Clarke-Salter, Jay Dasilva, Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham are joined in the squad by Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Ezri Konsa of Brentford.
That tournament is being hosted in Italy and San Marino and will begin on 16 June. England’s group opponents are France, Romania and Croatia.
