Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has completed a move to Liverpool after rejecting Chelsea.
The Blues agreed a £40m deal to buy the England international from Arsenal and appeared to be close to finalising the signing before it became apparent that he was reluctant to go ahead with the move.
Liverpool subsequently matched Chelsea’s offer to Arsenal, and Oxlade-Chamberlain, 24, has finalised his move to Anfield.
His contract at the Emirates Stadium was due to expire next year and Arsenal agreed to sell after he made it clear he would not sign a new deal.
