Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain appears to have snubbed a move to Chelsea.
The two clubs agreed a deal worth £40m but Oxlade-Chamberlain, 24, has indicated that he does not want to go through with the move.
There have been reports that Liverpool might make an offer for him, but so far they have not done so.
The England international’s contract at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire next year and Arsenal agreed to sell after he made it clear he would not sign a new deal.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has made 198 appearances for the Gunners since joining them from Southampton in August 2011.
