Chelsea youngster getting back to his best after dip in form – Rosler
Brentford manager Uwe Rosler believes on-loan Chelsea youngster George Saville is returning to his best form.
Saville, 20, immediately made an impact after arriving from Stamford Bridge during the summer but his performances have waned recently and he has been nursing a hip problem.
But the promising midfielder scored with a superb long-range effort to help the Bees to a 3-1 victory against Colchester on Saturday.
“George started the season well but then dropped in his performances and then he got injured,” Rosler said.
“Now he has come back, we have eased him into games and I thought Colchester was the right game for him.
“I thought he was good. He was solid from the beginning and after that he raised his level again.
“What I wanted to see from him was more of a goal threat and we saw that in terms of running into the box, attacking the cross and shooting from outside the box.”
