Striker Martell Taylor-Crossdale scored a hat-trick in 10 minutes for Chelsea’s Under-18s as they beat Fulham 6-1 at the Blues’ Cobham training ground.
The defending champions, who have now won all six of their opening six matches of the campaign – and scored 20 goals in the process – went behind to Jayden Harris’ early opener – the first goal they have conceded this season.
But they hit back with five goals in the space of 14 minutes, the first of which was a superb volley from Billy Gilmour, who was signed from Glasgow Rangers during the summer.
Taylor-Crossdale (pictured above playing for England Under-16s) then tucked away Tariq Lamptey’s cross and scored again to make it 3-1 after being set up by Reece James.
Daishawn Redan netted following Tariq Uwakwe’s corner and then crossed from the right for Taylor-Crossdale to complete his hat-trick and leave Chelsea 5-1 up the interval.
Tino Anjorin, 15, completed the rout early in the second half his first goal at Under-18 level.
