Kenedy completes move back to Newcastle

Newcastle have completed the signing of Kenedy on a season-long loan from Chelsea. 

The Brazilian wide-man spent the second half of last season on loan with the Magpies.

He played a major role in helping them move away from relegation danger and Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez has been keen to secure his return to St James’ Park.

Kenedy, 22, trained with Chelsea on Monday before heading to Tyneside to undergo a medical.

He has made just five Premier League starts for Chelsea since moving to Stamford Bridge from Fluminense three years ago.

He played 13 times for Newcastle last season, scoring twice.
