Four Chelsea youngsters make loan moves
Izzy Brown and Trevoh Chalobah were among four Chelsea youngsters to make season-long loan moves on Thursday.
Brown, 22, joined Luton, while fellow midfielder Chalobah, 20, signed a new Chelsea contract before joining Huddersfield.
Chalobah was on loan at Ipswich last season, while Brown (pictured) has previously on loan at Leeds, Brighton, Huddersfield, Rotherham and Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.
Meanwhile, Jacob Maddox, also a midfielder, was loaned to Tranmere. The 20-year-old spent last season at Cheltenham.
And defender Josh Grant, also 20, joined Plymouth.
Grant has previously been on loan with Yeovil Town, where he made eight appearances.
Plymouth boss Ryan Lowe told the club’s website: “I spoke to the lad on the phone, he’s a good kid. I told him what I want, what we’re about, and he couldn’t wait to get here.”
