Chelsea youngsters denied by controversial Ajax equaliser in Uefa Youth League

Chelsea’s Under-19 side drew 1-1 with Ajax in the Uefa Youth League ahead of the first team’s Champions League game against the Dutch club.

George McEachan put Chelsea ahead at Cobham with a superb free-kick 10 minutes before half-time.

But Ajax levelled in controversial circumstances in the second half, with Terrence Douglas netting after Blues defender Marc Guehi seemed to be fouled in the build-up.

The result leaves Chelsea third in their group, four points adrift of leaders Lille and two behind Ajax.
