Chelsea youngster Gallagher set for Palace move

Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher is set for a loan move to Crystal Palace.

The midfielder, 20, had spells on loan at Charlton and Swansea last season.


He is now in line for his chance in the Premier League, with Palace ready to snap him up on a season-long deal.

Gallagher has not made a competitive appearance for Chelsea’s first team but did feature as a substitute in their pre-season friendly at Brighton at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are assessing a knee injury Hakim Ziyech picked up in Saturday’s game.
