Chelsea youngsters pull off amazing comeback against West Ham
Chelsea’s development side beat 3-2 West Ham on Friday evening after pulling off an extraordinary comeback.
Luke McCormick (pictured) came on midway through the second half with his side 2-0 down and seemingly heading for defeat.
But the midfielder scored two – including an injury-time winner – and made one in the final 14 minutes of the game at Aldershot.
Reece’s Oxford’s first-half header and Joe Powell’s 57th-minute penalty put the visitors in a strong position.
However, McCormick fired home after being set up by Conor Gallagher and then crossed for Daishawn Redan to head in the equaliser.
And McCormick won it for Chelsea by heading in Juan Castillo’s cross.
