Transfer gossip: Speculation over Kepa’s future continues
Stories involving Chelsea in Sunday’s newspapers…
There continues to be speculation over the future of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Spaniard was dropped by boss Frank Lampard and reports have suggested that he could be sold this summer.
Kepa has been linked with several clubs – and several keepers have been touted as a possible replacement for him at Stamford Bridge.
One of those is Ajax’s Cameroon international Andre Onana.
And the Sunday Express say Kepa could move to Valencia with Onana joining the Blues when the transfer window reopens.
Icardi still being linked with Chelsea
Mauro Icardi is again being touted for a possible move to Chelsea.
It comes after reports that Inter Milan have rejected a bid from Paris St-Germain for the striker.
PSG are said to have offered £44.7m up front plus a further £8.9m in add-ons for Icardi, who has been linked with Chelsea many times during the past few years.
The Sun on Sunday claim PSG failing to agree a deal for Icardi could increase the chances of him moving to the Bridge.
