Chelsea’s Kane makes another loan move

Todd Kane has joined Dutch club Groningen on a season-long loan from Chelsea following his recovery from a long-term knee injury.

The 23-year-old right-back missed the whole of last season, having suffered cruciate damage in April 2016 while on loan at NEC Nijmegen.

He returns to the Netherlands looking for more first-team experience, having previously also had spells out on loan in England at Nottingham Forest, Bristol City, Blackburn and Preston.
