Easy pre-season win for Chelsea in Jakarta
Chelsea rounded off their Asian tour with an 8-1 victory against Indonesia All-Stars in Jakarta.
Romelu Lukaku and Ramires both scored twice, while Eden Hazard netted a penalty and there were also goals for Demba Ba, John Terry and exciting youngster Bertrand Traore.
Chelsea’s first came on 21 minutes, when Hazard converted from the spot after Terry had been fouled.
Ramires, who had earlier missed a good chance, doubled the Blues’ lead by firing home after Hazard’s cross had been headed down by Ryan Bertrand.
Ramires was also involved in the third goal, as his shot was parried before Ba followed up to score.
And Terry got on the scoresheet shortly before half-time, heading in after Bertrand’s corner had been flicked on by Gary Cahill.
Traore, who is still officially only on trial with the Blues, made it five early in the second half with a curling shot into the top corner.
After Hazard crossed for Lukaku to head in the sixth, Ramires struck from just outside the penalty area to score his second goal of the game.
Lukaku got his second and Chelsea’s eighth when he finished coolly after being set up by Lucas Piazon.
The hosts got one back courtesy of an own goal by Tomas Kalas before Lukaku went close with a late header.
