Chelsea’s development side beat Leicester
Daishawn Redan’s second-half goal – on his 17th birthday – gave Chelsea’s development side a 1-0 win against Leicester on Friday evening.
The exciting Dutch forward, signed from Ajax during the summer, fired home after Luke McCormick’s shot dropped to him in the box.
It was Redan’s third goal in as many matches and his 10th of the season.
Leicester had chances in the game at Aldershot and were denied a late equaliser by keeper Marcin Bulka’s save and Richard Nartey’s clearance off the line.
