Drogba faces morning fitness test

Didier Drogba will be assessed on Tuesday morning to determine whether he is fit enough to play against Barcelona.

The Chelsea striker is a doubt for the Champions League semi-final second leg because of a knee problem, but interim boss Roberto Di Matteo is hoping he will be available.

Drogba, who scored the winner in the Blues’ first-leg victory, travelled with the rest of the squad and has been tipped to play at the Nou Camp, where he joined his team-mates for a training session on Monday evening.

Defender David Luiz also made the trip, although he has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
