Roberto Di Matteo insists Chelsea should relish their hectic run-in to the season rather than worry about the number of matches facing them.
The FA Cup finalists face Arsenal in an important domestic game this weekend before flying to Barcelona for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
It has been a demanding sequence of fixtures for a team desperate to secure a top-four finish, but interim boss Di Matteo is enjoying the challenge.
“We’re trying our best to make up points and we have, but there’s not much time and we have to try our best and pick up as many points as possible,” he said.
“It’s very challenging, but exciting as well. If we had been told six weeks ago that we’d be in this position we would have been happy.
“The drive and motivation of the players to finish the season as well as possible helps. Belief and confidence comes from winning games.”
