Branislav Ivanovic is a doubt for Chelsea’s Champions League encounter with Benfica.
Ivanovic, whose extra-time winner against Napoli took his side into the quarter-finals, recently returned from injury but has now strained his hamstring.
The defender will be assessed this afternoon and the Blues are hoping he will be available for Wednesday’s game.
Chelsea were already monitoring the fitness of David Luiz and Didier Drogba ahead of the match at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba missed Saturday’s win at Aston Villa, where Luiz was taken off after suffering an ankle injury.
