Fit-again Terry available for United game
Antonio Conte has denied reports Chelsea captain John Terry has suffered an injury setback.
Terry, 35, was reported to have missed training on Thursday and said to be a major doubt for Sunday’s match against Manchester United.
But Blues boss Conte has insisted that Terry has fully recovered from a recent ankle problem and is available for the United game after training this week.
“John is in good shape. He has trained with the team,” said Conte.
“He has sorted his problem with his ankle and this week he has trained very well and he’s available for the game.”
However, Conte suggested that Willian and Oscar might not be selected because of family bereavements.
Willian’s mother and Oscar’s grandfather recently passed away.
Conte said: “Willian came back on Thursday morning and then had a training session with us.
“We as a club feel sorry for him because of the situation and also for Oscar.
“In this situation it is very important that we consider all aspects and then make the right decision.
“I also have tomorrow to see this situation. I think it’s important that we support them.”
