Chelsea’s Kalas rejoins Middlesbrough

Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas has completed his season-long loan move to Middlesbrough.

The Czech defender, 22, spent the second half of the last campaign at the Riverside, making 17 appearances.

He linked up with the Boro squad on their pre-season trip to Marbella while the deal was being finalised.

Kalas made his Chelsea debut in a Capital One Cup win over Arsenal in October 2013 and has made two Premier League appearances.
