Holders Chelsea reached the FA Youth Cup final yet again by destroying Tottenham 7-1 at Stamford Bridge, winning 9-2 on aggregate.
Striker Ike Ugbo (pictured above) netted a hat-trick and there were also goals for Trevoh Chalobah, Dujon Sterling, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Juan Castillo in a one-sided semi-final second leg.
Leading 2-1 from last week’s first leg at White Hart Lane, the young Blues totally outclassed their opponents as Chelsea reached their sixth successive Youth Cup final.
Ugbo opened the scoring after being set up by Reece James before Chalobah (pictured below) netted from close range.
Kazaiah Sterling, who scored Tottenham’s goal in the first leg, had a penalty brilliantly saved by Jared Thompson and George McEachran hit the Spurs post before Ugbo’s penalty following a foul on Sterling put the home side 3-0 up at half-time.
Six more goals followed after the interval, with Castillo setting up Sterling to make it 4-0 before substitute Hudson-Odoi made it five.
Ugbo then completed his hat-trick after being supplied by Mason Mount before Jake Roles pulled a goal back for the visitors.
Castillo completed the scoring with a cool finish after being put through by Hudson-Odoi.
