Chelsea youngsters denied by late Valencia goal in Uefa Youth League

Chelsea’s Under-19s opened their Uefa Youth League campaign with a 3-3 draw against Valencia ahead of the Champions League clash between the two clubs.

The home side were behind twice in the first half at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground, with Tino Anjorin (pictured) levelling from the penalty spot on both occasions.

Chelsea went ahead just after the hour mark when Tariq Lamptey did well on the right and set up Armando Broja, who applied the finish.

Goalkeeper Karlo Ziger made two fine saves to deny the Spanish side before they equalised with six minutes remaining.
