Chelsea’s Under-18s continued their perfect start to the season by winning 4-0 at Norwich.
George McEachran gave them a first-half lead, Charlie Brown made it 2-0 and Conor Gallagher netted before Martell Taylor-Crossdale, who earlier hit the post with a free-kick, got Chelsea’s fourth.
On Friday evening, Eden Hazard played 75 minutes for Chelsea’s Under-23 side in the latest stage of his comeback from an ankle injury.
Hazard showed glimpses of his quality but the team were beaten 3-0 by reigning Premier League 2 champions Everton at Aldershot, where boss Antonio Conte watched on.
