Chelsea youngsters beaten by Porto in Uefa Youth League final

Chelsea’s Under-19 side lost 3-1 to Porto in the final of the Uefa Youth League.

The young Blues trailed at half-time in Nyon, Switzerland, to Fabio Vieira’s 17th-minute goal.

They equalised when Daishawn Redan (pictured) headed in from Juan Castillo’s right-wing cross eight minutes into the second half.

But they were unlucky to find themselves behind again just a couple of minutes later when the ball ricocheted in off Diogo Queiros after a save by Chelsea keeper Karlo Ziger.

And Afonso Sousa fired past Ziger at his near post to seal Porto’s victory.
